Welcome to Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church, Inverurie.
We are part of the Scottish Episcopal Church which is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion and are within the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney.
We are an inter-generational and family friendly church and you are welcome to come to any of our services. If you would like any more information please do not hesitate to get in touch.
After re-opening for worship on Sunday 26th July, the church building is again closed due to the current lockdown and worship has moved online. More details will follow in due course.
A digital Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols is available on the top right hand corner of any page on this website. You can watch full screen if you wish from this website.
It is around 45 minutes in length and we offer it as something to recapture the magic of Christmas in this time of Covid 19 and to ask questions about where the light at the heart of Christmas is leading us. We hope it fills some of the gap left by us being unable to share in our usual activities.

The Scottish Episcopal Church will continue to broadcast video coverage of Eucharistic services on a Sunday at 11 am and a Service of the Word on a Thursday at 6.30 pm via its website, social media channels and YouTube channel. Midday Prayer – currently takes place on Zoom from 12:30 to 1:00, please contact John for the Order or Service and joining details.
Messy Church: Currently suspended but activities can be found online. Usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month (not July) from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Please check the Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
Special Church: Currently suspended. Takes place in the St Mary’s Centre and runs 4 times a year, please get in touch for dates and times. It is specifically designed for families with teenagers and young adults with special needs.
